Giant/Safeway
Woodlin participates in retail “loyalty” programs sponsored by Safeway and Giant. Once your card is registered in support of Woodlin, the school receives ~1% from your purchases at the register during the school year. One key benefit (once your card is registered) is that you do NOT need to save receipts when shopping at Giant or Safeway (but please keep saving your SNIDERS receipts!)
For Woodlin to benefit, you must register your retail card numbers EACH FALL. There is no cost to you and Woodlin generally earns $1,400 from these programs.
Below are instructions about how to get your cards registered:
1) IF YOU HAVE REGISTERED YOUR CARD FOR WOODLIN IN THE PAST 2 YEARS, kindly send a quick email to WESretailcards@gmail.com authorizing the school coordinator (a PTA volunteer) to sign you up again.
2) If you provided your card numbers when you joined the PTA this fall, THANK YOU! You are all set.
3) If you are new to Woodlin or have never registered your cards, please email the following to WESretailcards@gmail.com:
- Giant Bonus Card Number - 12 digit number and last name
- Safeway Club Card Number - 11 digit number, first and last name, home address
If you don’t know your card numbers, cannot find them, and simply use your phone number at the register, please email me your name, address, and the phone number you use (and whether it is Safeway and/or Giant) and I will have Giant and/or Safeway customer service look it up. Please take a moment to think about the last name the card is registered under (i.e., is it your maiden name? Your husband's last name?)
The sooner you get registered, the sooner Woodlin begins to benefit. This is an EASY way to help the school and it costs you NOTHING. If every family participated, Woodlin would make well over $10,000 each year!
